Qoraa ku dhisay qalab AI u eg Tamagotchi ka hor Meta isagoo isticmaalay $50
Qalabka waxaa lagu saleynayay Waveshare ESP32-S3 1.75C oo ay Meta ogolaatay in lagu dhiso Muse Gadget
Qoraa ayaa ku dhisay qalab u eg Tamagotchi oo leh awood AI ka hor inta aanay Meta soo saarin Muse Charm, isagoo ku kharash galay $50. Qalabka waxaa lagu saleynayay Waveshare ESP32-S3 1.75C, oo ah shaashad taabasho 1.75-inch ah oo laga keenay Shiinaha.
Qalabka iyo isku xirka Muse
Qoraagu wuxuu sheegay in uu $50 ku iibsaday shaashad taabasho 1.75-inch ah oo loo yaqaan Waveshare ESP32-S3 1.75C, oo laga keenay Shiinaha. Qalabkan waxaa Meta si rasmi ah u ogolaatay in loo isticmaalo Muse Gadget, isagoo isticmaalaya koodhka furan ee Meta iyo tokens si uu si toos ah ugu xirmo Muse AI cloud.
Hagaajinta Claude Code
Qoraagu wuxuu isticmaalay Claude Code si uu u barnaamijyo qalabka, isagoo ku daray bog taariikh wada-hadal, cod AI British ah oo ka yimid ElevenLabs, iyo ciyaar yar oo u eg Tamagotchi. Wuxuu sheegay in aanu lahayn khibrad koodh qoris, isagoo aan hubin in koodhka uu wanaagsan yahay, wuxuuna xusay in uu suurtagal tahay in uu cillad weyn leeyahay.
Aaminaad iyo su'aalo ku saabsan Muse Charm
Qoraagu wuxuu sheegay in aanu aaminin Meta ama wakiilkeeda Muse, isagoo ku xusay warbixin sheegtay in uu daaha ka qaaday cinwaanka guriga mid ka mid ah dib-u-eegayaasha, wuxuuna qalabka ku xirey Wi-Fi martida. Wuxuu kaloo su'aal ka taagay in Muse Charm dhabta ah ay noqon doonto mid si xor ah loo barnaamijin karo, ama in dadka iibsanaya ay ka wanaagsan tahay in ay iibsadaan devkit.
The Verge's reviewer says the Meta-sanctioned devkit became a talking AI companion with avatars and a Tamagotchi-style minigame.
A reviewer paid $50 for a 1.75-inch touchscreen computer pendant and used Claude Code to turn it into a talking AI companion, describing the result as a home-built alternative to Meta's Muse Charm.
A Meta-sanctioned devkit, drop-shipped from China
The hardware is the Waveshare ESP32-S3 1.75C, a push-to-talk AI devkit the reviewer says looks much like the Muse Charm and is officially sanctioned by Meta. It is among the company's first suggestions for building a "Muse Gadget," a device that uses Meta's open-source code and tokens to connect to its Muse AI cloud. Out of the box, the reviewer found it felt "pretty useless to start."
Claude Code fills the gaps
The reviewer, who says they have no coding experience, used Claude Code to add a conversation history page, a British AI voice from ElevenLabs, a remote camera viewfinder and a Tamagotchi-like minigame with avatars that need food, play, sleep and a bath. The reviewer adds that they have no idea if the code is good and that it "might be fatally flawed."
Server lag and questions about the real Charm
Meta's original build came with only a single Jolly avatar and did not automatically discover smart home gadgets, the reviewer says. The only obvious lag now comes from Meta's own servers, which are "sometimes" responsive and "sometimes" lag quite a bit. The reviewer also does not trust Meta or its Muse agent with their email or home network, citing a report that it leaked one reviewer's home address, and put the device on guest Wi-Fi as a precaution. They ask whether the actual Muse Charm will be as freely programmable as the development kit.
