Google oo u ogolaanaysa dugsiyada inay ka baxaan qalabka AI, laakiin waa inay sidoo kale ka tanaasulaan raadinta
Dugsiyada isticmaalaya alaabta waxbarashada ee Google waxaa si caadi ah looga saaray qalabka AI, waxaana maamulayaasha u furan inay si gacan-ku-haynta ah u shidaan.
Google ayaa sheegtay inay u ogolaanayso macallimiinta inay go'aan ka gaaraan in qalabkeeda AI laga isticmaalo fasalka. Hase yeeshee, xannibaadda qalabka AI waxay sidoo kale macnaheedu tahay in la waayo raadinta, taasoo dugsiyada hor keenaysa go'aan adag.
Dugsiyada si caadi ah looga saaray qalabka AI
Google ayaa go'aansatay in dugsiyada isticmaalaya alaabteeda waxbarashada si caadi ah looga saaro qalabka AI. Waxaa maamulayaasha u furan inay si gacan-ku-haynta ah u shidaan qalabkaas marka isbeddelladan la hirgeliyo bilaha soo socda.
Alaabta saameysa iyo xulashada aan jirin
Alaabta ay saameyntu ku tahay waa Gemini, Gemini Notebook, Gemini in Classroom iyo Google Search. Ma jiro xulasho qayb-qayb ah — dugsiyadu waa inay oggolaadaan dhammaan AI ama midna ma oggolaadaan.
Google Search oo qayb ka ah AI
Maamulka Google ayaa sheegay in Google Search uu yahay raadin AI ah. Inta badan raadinta waxay hadda bixisaa AI Overview xagga sare, shirkadduna waxay si joogto ah u soo saartaa siyaabo cusub oo dadka loogu jiheeyo qalabka sheekaysiga ee AI Mode. Google waxay u aragtaa tan mustaqbalka.
Administrators must manually enable Gemini, Gemini Notebook, Gemini in Classroom and Google Search, with no option to allow some AI tools and block others.
Google will let educators decide whether its AI tools are allowed in the classroom, but schools that block those tools also give up search, the company's plan indicates. Schools using Google's education products will be opted out of AI tools by default, and administrators must manually enable them when the changes roll out in the coming months.
Default Opt-Out Puts the Choice With Administrators
Under the approach, schools using Google's education products will be opted out of AI tools by default. It will be up to administrators to manually enable the tools when the changes roll out in the coming months. Google says the decision follows consultation with educators, researchers and lawmakers.
The Affected Products and the All-or-Nothing Rule
The products covered are Gemini, Gemini Notebook, Gemini in Classroom and Google Search. Schools cannot pick and choose among them: they either allow all the AI or none of it. Because search is included in that list, blocking AI tools also means giving up search, leaving schools with a difficult decision.
Google Describes Search as AI Search
Google executives have said that Google Search is AI search. Most searches now provide an AI Overview at the top, and the company is constantly coming up with new ways to nudge people toward the conversational AI Mode chatbot function. Google sees AI search as the future.
