Israeli Forces Prepare to Demolish Palestinian Homes
The Israeli army has confirmed its intention to demolish the homes of two Palestinians, one of whom was killed during a settler raid in the village of Tell on Friday. The targeted individuals are accused of involvement in an earlier incident where an Israeli soldier’s weapon was taken.
According to Israeli forces, the homes were raided “in preparation for their temporary sealing, as a preliminary step preceding their demolition.” This action comes amidst escalating tensions and frequent clashes between Israeli security forces and Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
Palestinian media reported that settlers burned a mosque in the village of Kafr Qaddum, south of the city of Tulkarm, during the same period. This incident is the latest in a series of escalating tensions between Israeli settlers and Palestinians in the region.
Earlier, Israeli settlers set fire to Al-Rahma Mosque in Qusra town, also in the occupied West Bank. Similar incidents of settler violence have been reported throughout the region, including attacks on Palestinian vehicles and seizure of Palestinian property.
