In a rare interview on Fox News' Fox & Friends, Melania Trump addressed reports that she is appearing in public less often than during President Donald Trump's first term. She said she is working nonstop behind the scenes on projects, including preparations for events at the U.N. General Assembly and President Xi Jinping's state visit to New York.
She revealed that President Trump personally decided to greet China's leader after his plane landed, citing their 'great relationship.' She also discussed her efforts to reunite Ukrainian and Russian children separated by the war, noting that as of July she had helped reunite five groups of children.
Upcoming Docuseries and Continued Media Push
Melania Trump also promoted her upcoming two-part docuseries, which will be released in the fall. She said it will differ from her January Amazon documentary, 'Melania,' by offering more intimate, one-on-one conversations with private questions she has never answered publicly before.
She described the experience as exciting, noting that the director asked her questions while she was traveling and filming, and she will now answer some of those private questions for the first time.
