Xukuumadda Qadhaaqa oo ku guuleysata doorashada Kaniadua: Heshiisiiyaha iyo Khilaafka
Doorashada dowladda gobolka Qadhaaq ayaa ku dhacday maanta, iyadoo la filayo in xisbiga Qadhaaqi (PQ) uu guuleysto, taasoo ah heshiisiiyihii ugu horreeyay ee xisbiga kumeel gaarka ah ee Qadhaaq ka dhigo dowlad goboleed. Guushan ayaa waxay keenaysaa khilaaf cusub oo ku saabsan luqadda iyo aqoonsiga dhexdooda dowladda federaalka iyo gobolka.
Soo noqoshada Xisbiga Qadhaaqi
Xisbiga Qadhaaqi (PQ) oo horey u ahaa mid hooseeya siyaasadda Qadhaaq, ayaa hadda ku guuleystay soo noqoshada, iyadoo hoggaamiyaha xisbiga Paul St-Pierre Plamondon uu yahay sababta ugu weyn ee guushan. 49-jirka oo ah macalin iyo xirfadlayaasha, ayaa ku dhawaaqay inuu yahay jawaabta 'TikTok' ah ee François Legault, horey u ahaa Ra'iisul Wasaaraha gobolka. Waa guul aan la filayn, iyadoo xisbiga uu horey u ahaa mid hooseeya.
Warbaahinta ayaa sheegaysa in guushan uu ka dhashay fikradda 'qabiilka' ee St-Pierre Plamondon, oo uu ku eedeeyay dadka badbaadada inay sabab u yihiin waxyaabaha dhibaatooyinka ah sida waxbarashada, dilalka iyo qiimaha guriga. Wuxuu sidoo kale sheegay inuu diidi doono calaamadaha diinta ee 'muuqda' ee ardayda iyo macallimiinta.
Khilaafka Federaalka iyo Maamulka
Haddii xisbiga Qadhaaqi uu guuleysto, waxaa la filayaa inay dib u soo noqoto khilaafka u dhexeeya dowladda federaalka iyo gobolka ku saabsan luqadda iyo aqoonsiga. St-Pierre Plamondon wuxuu sheegay inuu diidi doono xafiiska guddoomiyaha gobolka, kaas oo ah xubinta dowladda Ingiriiska, isagoo doonaya inuu ka baxo xiriirka dowladda gobolka iyo boqortooyada.
Waxaa jira khilaaf kale oo ku saabsan doorashada, iyadoo St-Pierre Plamondon uu sheegay inuu diidi doono doorashada haddii Trump uu joogo, laakiin wuxuu diyaar u yahay inuu ka hadlo arrimaha badbaadada. Mark Carney, hoggaamiyaha xisbiga Liberal, wuxuu sheegay inuu diyaar u yahay inuu kor u qaado badbaadada, taasoo St-Pierre Plamondon ku tilmaamay 'khalad' oo ka dhigaya xiriirka dowladda gobolka iyo dowladda federaalka mid adag.
Voters in Quebec are heading to the polls in provincial elections that will likely result in a victory for the Parti Québécois (PQ), a party promising a referendum on independence within two years. If polls hold, the separatist movement will seize power in the French-speaking province for the first time in over a decade.
A New Face for the Old Separatist Cause
Long considered a declining force, the PQ owes its resurgence to party leader Paul St-Pierre Plamondon. The 49-year-old Oxford-educated lawyer has positioned himself as a modern rebuttal to the previous Premier, François Legault. Analysts suggest his success stems not from separatist fervor, as the majority of voters do not support an independent Quebec, but from his right-wing take on identity issues.
Plamondon has blamed immigrants for overflowing schools, increased crime, and skyrocketing housing prices, while promising to slash immigration levels and ban 'conspicuous' religious symbols from teachers and students. He has derided critics from the leftist Quebec Solidaire party as 'woke' and repeated the talking points of hard-right columnists.
Shifting Political Tides and Strategic Risks
Radio host Patrick Lagacé noted that while most Quebecers traditionally see themselves on the left, they are increasingly on the right regarding social issues like systemic racism and religious accommodation. 'They've hardened on these issues, and don't see themselves in the left's recent fixation on identity issues,' Lagacé said.
However, the party faces a significant challenge: the promise to hold a referendum during the first mandate of a PQ government. An overwhelming majority of Quebecers do not want such a thing any time soon, particularly with Canada locked in a trade war with the US. The party also benefits from a vote split, as those who dislike the PQ do not agree on who to vote for.
