Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has arrived in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, for an official working visit aimed at strengthening ties between the two neighbouring countries.

President Mohamud and his accompanying delegation were received upon arrival as part of a visit expected to focus on diplomatic engagement and regional cooperation.
According to Somali officials, discussions during the visit will centre on regional security, stability, and advancing areas of mutual interest between Somalia and Ethiopia.
During his stay in Addis Ababa, President Mohamud is scheduled to hold talks with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. The leaders are expected to discuss ways to expand bilateral cooperation, including in security, economic development, and broader regional affairs across the Horn of Africa.
