Interpol Names Ukrainian Woman as Suspect in Monaco Bombing

Anastasiia Berezovska is identified as the primary suspect in a bomb attack in Monaco targeting Ukrainian tycoon Vadym Yermolaiev, his partner, and son.

Suspect Details

Interpol has issued a Red Notice for Anastasiia Berezovska, 39, who is wanted for attempted murder, placing an explosive device in a public place with criminal intent and criminal conspiracy.

Targeted Attack

Monaco authorities believe the explosion at an apartment building entrance was specifically aimed at the tycoon, who has connections to Russia. The three people injured in the attack are a family.

Investigation Findings

The bomb was detonated remotely using a control device. CCTV footage and witness testimony revealed the suspect was actually a woman disguised as a man. The investigation also identified a rented vehicle with German plates used by the suspect.

The suspect’s escape route was traced across several European countries before reaching her residence in Germany. German criminal police searched the rented flat and car of the 39-year-old Ukrainian woman identified as the suspect.
