Mogadishu (HOL) – Somali Ambassador to Türkiye, Fathudin Ali Mohamed, met with Kubanychbek Omuraliyev, secretary-general of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), at the organization’s headquarters in Istanbul on Monday.
The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Somalia and the OTS, particularly within the framework of African Union collaboration.
Both sides highlighted the importance of expanding ties in key sectors, including economic development and trade.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Somalia reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to deepening engagement with the OTS and its member states.
The meeting underscored a mutual dedication to fostering diplomatic and strategic relations, contributing to regional stability and economic growth.
