Dhusamareb (HOL) – Somali National Intelligence Agency (NISA) operatives seized two vehicles suspected of transporting fuel and other supplies intended for the militant group Al-Shabaab in Bahdo district, Galgadud region, on Sunday. 

According to residents, the vehicles and their drivers were transferred to the NISA command in Adado district for further investigation and legal proceedings. 

Officers leading the operation stated that investigations are ongoing to determine the connection between the drivers and Al-Shabaab. The vehicles were reportedly en route to deliver supplies to Al-Shabaab fighters in the region. 

Al-Shabaab has faced escalating pressure in Galmudug, where the Somali National Army (SNA), local militias, and Galmudug regional forces have disrupted their supply routes and restricted movement to their hideouts.
