The meeting forms part of the second forum of the Somali Media Relations Strategy 2026, which seeks to strengthen consultation, cooperation and the development of a shared direction for the future of Somalia's media sector. Information Ministers from the Federal Member States and representatives of the Banadir Regional Administration presented their views, regional challenges and recommendations on improving cooperation and strengthening the Somali media sector.
