He stressed that the Somali government remains focused on preserving the integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia, of which Somaliland is a constituent part.

Cali Balcad highlighted that the Trump administration continues to support a united Somalia, citing the country's strategic importance to the United States in counter-terrorism, maritime security, and overall stability across the Horn of Africa.
