Nijeer Faransiiska ku eedeeyay inay dagaalka ciidamadeeda ka dhalisay, Parisna waa ka jawaabtay
Nijeer ayaa Faransiiska ku eedeeyay inay ka dhalisay dagaalkii ciidamadeeda ka dhacay Niamey, halkaasi oo ay ku dhinteen saddex askari oo difaaca madaxtooyada ka tirsanaa, iyadoo Faransiisku uu sheegay in eedeymuhu ay yihiin 'fantasiyo kaliya'.
Dagaalkii ciidamada iyo khasaaraha
29-kii bishii August, ciidamo oo ka carooday Nijeer ayaa weeraray saldhig ciidan oo ku yaalla magaalada Niamey, iyagoo toos uga dhacay dhulka dhexe ee madaxtooyada. Dagaalku wuxuu ka dhacay Base 101, oo ah saldhig ciidan oo ku yaalla garoonka diyaaradaha magaaladaasi. Ciidamada Nijeer iyo kuwa Russia ee Africa Corps ayaa maalinta dambe saldhiga dib u soo celinayay.
Khasaaraha dagaalku wuxuu gaaray saddex askari oo difaaca madaxtooyada ka tirsanaa, iyadoo warbaahinta AFP ay sheegtay inay dhinteen labo qof oo kale oo shacab ah, taasoo dhigaysa guud ahaan halboqol iyo toban qof. Dhinaca kale, warbaahinta Nijeer ayaa sheegtay inay ku dhinteen boqol askari, iyadoo qaar kalena la xiray.
Eedeymaha Nijeer iyo jawaabta Faransiiska
Shirka wasiirrada Nijeer ayaa sheegay inay xaqiijiyeen in dagaalku uu ka dhalay xirfadleyn Faransiis ah, iyagoo sheegay inay diyaariyeen 'evidance' oo ku saabsan arrintan. Wasaaradda arrimaha dibadda Nijeer ayaa sheegtay inay leeyihiin awoodda inay arrintan u gudbiyaan maxkamadaha caalamiga ah. Wasiirka arrimaha dibadda Faransiiska Jean-Noël Barrot ayaa sheegay in eedeymuhu ay yihiin 'fantasiyo kaliya'.
Barrot wuxuu yiri: 'Ma jirin wax dhaqan ah oo Faransiiska u baahan inuu sameeyo, mana jirin wax dhaqan ah oo Faransiisku u baahan inuu sameeyo.' Wuxuu sidoo kale sheegay in eedeymuhu ay yihiin 'waxyaabo aan loo baahnayn in la sameeyo, mana jirin wax dhaqan ah oo Faransiisku u baahan inuu sameeyo.' Wasiirka arrimaha dibadda Nijeer Soumana Boubacar ayaa sheegay in dagaalku uu ka dhalay 'xirfadleyn Faransiis ah'.
Dib-u-dhaca iyo xiriirka Nijeer iyo Russia
Nijeer ayaa dib u dhacday xiriirkeeda Faransiiska tan iyo markii ciidamadaasi ay ka dhaceen 2023, iyagoo u gudbay xiriirka Russia. Saddex dal oo ka mid ah Sahel (Nijeer, Burkina Faso, iyo Mali) ayaa u gudbay xiriirka Russia si ay uga hortagaan dagaalka Al-Qaeda iyo ISIL. Hase yeeshee, dib-u-dhacaasi ma aysan ka hortagin dagaalka Al-Qaeda iyo ISIL.
Xiriirka Nijeer iyo Faransiisku wuxuu sii xumaaday tan iyo markii Nijeer ay qabsatay adeegyada ururka Orano ee Faransiiska, oo ah ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka ururka.
Niger's ruling military council has accused France of orchestrating last week's failed mutiny in Niamey, while French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot dismissed the claims as 'pure fantasies' and denied any role in the unrest.
Mutiny Unfolds at Airbase and Presidential Palace
On August 29, disgruntled soldiers attacked Base 101, a military facility inside Niamey's international airport, and opened fire at several sites in the capital. The fighting spread to the presidential palace and knocked the state broadcaster off air for hours before the army, supported by Russian paramilitary fighters known as Africa Corps, retook the base the following day. Hundreds of soldiers took part, and dozens were killed or arrested in the violence.
The unrest killed three members of the presidential guard, according to Niger's Foreign Affairs Ministry. AFP reported a total of five deaths, including civilians. Niger's government acknowledged for the first time that civilians had died in the violence, marking a significant admission amid the escalating crisis.
Niger Accuses France of Orchestrating the Plot
On Friday, Niger's Council of Ministers said it had concluded that the attack had been incited by a vast network of accomplices led by France. Government spokesperson Soumana Boubacar stated: 'This operation, with its international ramifications, was instigated and sustained by a vast network of collusion headed by the French regime of Mr [Emmanuel] Macron.' He added that 'traitorous and renegade elements' were tasked with carrying out 'unfulfilled ambitions of Macron and his cronies' in the country.
The government said a substantial body of evidence had been compiled and reserved the right to bring the matter before international courts. A state television video showed an air force captain naming Benin, Chad, Ivory Coast and the regional bloc ECOWAS as backers of the attack, while Niger's government also accused unnamed 'African brothers' of serving as a bridge for the plot.
France Rejects Claims and Defends Its Reputation
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot denied any involvement of France in the attack, telling radio station RFI on Saturday: 'These are nothing but pure fantasies.' He added: 'All of this is, as usual, a way of wrongly blaming France for something it is simply not responsible for.' Barrot further stated: 'There never was any intention, nor means that France would have mobilised.'
A Nigerian military official had previously accused several states, including France, Ivory Coast and Benin, of supporting the mutiny. Benin's government rejected the claim, with a spokesman saying 'no one in their right mind' believes it. Analysts say General Tchiani has blamed France and other West African states for unrest without producing evidence, aimed more at shaping opinion at home than any legal case.
