TCL’s RM9L RGB-Mini TV boasts four HDMI 2.1 ports, enabling seamless connectivity for low-latency PC gaming. Each port supports a 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals.
The TV also features two USB ports (one coaxial), an Ethernet port, a digital optical port, and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. eARC passthrough audio is available through one of the HDMI 2.1 ports.
The remote control offers intuitive navigation and accessible brightness controls. The layout is well-designed for late-night gaming sessions.
While the RM9L delivers exceptional brightness and contrast, its Mini RGB tech can be fussy at times. Movie tests revealed mixed results, with some scenes appearing slightly washed out.
The RM9L’s color accuracy fell short of the LG Micro RGB Evo, exhibiting less tonal variation. However, it performed better than the Sony Bravia 7 Mark II and Hisense UR9.
The TCL RM9L TV offers an abundance of connectivity options and delivers strong brightness and contrast. However, its Mini RGB tech and color accuracy could be improved.
