Mogadishu (HOL) – The Director of the Tourism Department in Deyniile District, Abdalla Sheikh Ibrahim, has died from injuries sustained in an attack by an armed gang in the Ali Boley neighborhood.

According to local sources, the assailants ambushed the director, stealing his mobile phone and service pistol before fleeing the scene. He was rushed to Digfeer Hospital, where medical officials confirmed that he had been shot in the head.

Despite efforts to save his life, Director Abdalla succumbed to his injuries, sparking outrage and renewed calls for improved security in the area.

In response to the incident, security forces launched a manhunt for the suspects, working in collaboration with local residents to track down and arrest the perpetrators.

Authorities have pledged that those responsible for the murder will be brought to justice.
